Things we find Pinteresty Thursday

Vintage Salt and Pepper Shakers

Several years back I started collecting vintage and vintage style salt and pepper shakers. This is the bulk of my collection. I do have more sets in storage including my holiday sets - As you can see my display cubbie is full so I have to rotate my collection occasionally.

Sugar and Spice and everything nice - Sweet!

Love teapots, love books - It's all good!

 Remember these?

Scooters and side cars are so cool.

A blackbird baked in a pie.

This toast really pops up.

I love old convertible Corvettes.

Pink Cadilac.

Classic lunch box and thermos.

A teapot with cherries - Love - love!

My DH is in a band. I found this Fender guitar and amp in his Musicians Friend catalog and had to have it - of course! Lol!

I enjoy these salt and pepper shakers, they make me smile.
I hope you enjoyed them too.

Valentine Door decor

I don't know about you but when I take my Christmas decorations down my house feels so empty. I want to re-decorate, spring clean & organize/re-organize everything all at the same time. Kind of like when my eyes are bigger than my stomach.

Of course I have to take time out to create something occasionally and with Valentines day just around the corner - Yes - we are already one week into January!

I like to start with my front door because I want to give a warm welcome with a splash of color. In the dead of winter this is just what is needed.

I've seen so many unique and beautiful Valentines wreaths on Pinterest - I've been inspired to build something unique of my own and so I decided to challenge myself into creating something with what I had on hand. This is what I came up with.

Using a wire basket I had picked up at a local boutique years ago. I added red organdy wire edge ribbon and hot glued on some silk roses and baby's breath pulled from another wreath and Voila!
